Three pupils shine at the Yeovil Mini Mile

Two podium finishes and a first ever race — our Mini Mile runners had a day to remember

Zara, Eisley, and Florence represented the school at the Yeovil Mini Mile on Sunday 29 March, with two runners finishing on the podium in the Under 8 category.

Zara put in a superb performance, finishing as the tenth female runner overall and claiming first place in the U8 category. Eisley was right behind her, taking second place in the same category. Florence also completed the course in what was her very first competitive run — a wonderful achievement.

The Yeovil Mini Mile is a popular community running event that gives young athletes the chance to race alongside runners of all ages in a supportive, family-friendly setting.

Whether finishing on the podium or crossing the line for the very first time, our pupils showed exactly what it means to thrive. United we Thrive — and days like this prove it. Well done to all three runners.
